The Tyrol memorial record LAA / MEM–2931 / public note 2931 incident · public historical note, 2956 Registrar, drawing on the Academy history Cadet Third Class Marcus Hendricks and Cadet Third Class Tomas Vasari died during a navigational training exercise in the Tyrol belt in 2931. Their names remain in the Academy register. What the public record establishes The established Academy history records a navigational hazard, the loss of the two cadets, subsequent safety reforms and the foundation of the Asclepius Medical Center. It does not provide a complete engineering investigation or a finding against a named officer. Limits of this account This notice is not the inquiry itself. It does not establish that every later accident was prevented or rank the Academy’s safety record against other institutions. The two deaths are recorded as losses in training, not as a required sacrifice. Remembrance The names are read at the annual memorial observance. Jian Mei-Wen, Cadet Second Class, who died in an EVA training incident in 2947, is remembered in the same service. The memorial does not publish withdrawal or disciplinary lists alongside the dead.
