Instructions for using the 2931 memorial account without turning an incomplete record into a dramatic exercise.

Names and limits
Marcus Hendricks and Tomas Vasari are named in the public memorial record. The published account connects their deaths with a navigation hazard and subsequent safety reform. It does not supply a complete engineering investigation. Instructors must not assign invented last words, a precise failure sequence or blame to a named person.

Classroom method
Give students the public account and ask what evidence a responsible review would require. Separate questions that the catalogue can answer from questions it cannot. Do not conceal information from students and later mark them down for failing to discover it.

Memorial and exercise
Do not recreate the deaths as a competitive scenario. A practical exercise may examine an abort decision using a separate fictional brief, provided the stop conditions are stated and the historical names are not used as casualty roles.
