CIVITAS CU / 02 / Ship lending standard PUBLIC CHARTER EDITION / 2956 Applications, loan offers, purchase payments and repayments. 1. Applying Name the ship, seller, quoted price, your contribution and intended use. Catalogue prices are a guide from the supplied CCC charter edition, not a live dealer feed. A treasury officer must confirm how the ship can be purchased for aUEC. If there is no retail price, provide a seller’s quotation. Civitas does not finance pledge-store or real-money purchases. 2. Catalogue products and planning rates CCC edition 2956.1.0 records 44 vessels and four products: L-100 Pathfinder, L-200 Workhorse, L-300 Tactical and L-400 Syndicate. Their standard contributions are 10%, 20%, 25% and 30%; each product offers its own weekly terms. Tier 2 and Tier 3 rates use an annual nominal rate divided into 52 weekly periods. Estimates are amortized, rounded to whole aUEC and distributed across the weekly schedule. They are not approved offers or new interest-bearing balances. 3. Eligibility and requested conditions A new-recruit L-100 request may start at 0% contribution. An active-contract L-300 request may start at 15%. Eligible L-200 offtake requests use the product's published rate for the selected tier, subject to a confirmed 25% industrial agreement. Discounts are not stacked. L-400 applications name at least three distinct proposed co-signers. Names do not establish consent or a guarantee. The officer verifies membership tier, agreement, contribution, co-signer arrangements and dealer availability before offering terms. These requests are preserved in the application record; applying creates no financial obligation for a proposed co-signer. 4. Your written offer A different treasury officer records the confirmed price, loan principal, fixed charge and weekly term. The member accepts a particular offer version; accepted terms cannot be overwritten without review. Loans support up to 104 weekly installments. The fixed charge cannot exceed one quarter of principal; the amount in the accepted offer is the charge payable. 5. Weekly payments The principal and fixed charge are divided into whole-aUEC weekly payments. Any remainder is added one aUEC at a time to the earliest payments. The full schedule is available in the downloadable loan record. Early repayment adds no new charge, but the agreed fixed charge remains payable. No late penalty is added automatically. 6. Paying for the purchase After acceptance, treasury reserves the loan funds and the member’s contribution. Confirmed custody must cover the full outgoing payment. A named custodian sends the agreed aUEC to the purchasing member. The loan becomes active after an independent teller confirms that transfer. Rejection, cancellation or expiry reverses the reservation and associated debt record. 7. Buying the ship The member buys the ship under their own citizen account and records the purchase receipt. Availability, ownership and insurance follow the seller’s terms. Civitas cannot remotely repossess a ship or transfer its ownership. 8. Repayments and difficulties Repayments come from the member’s available checking balance. External aUEC must first be deposited and confirmed. Principal repayments replenish the lending reserve; the fixed charge is recorded separately. Contact the Civitas office if a payment cannot be made. The account does not automatically forgive debt, replace a ship or pay an insurance claim. 9. Phoenix suspension decisions New catalogue loans include eligibility for a recorded Phoenix suspension decision. An independent Treasury officer may pause or resume an active eligible loan with a reason. Existing loans are not given new terms automatically. While paused, neither manual repayments nor standing-order collections can execute. Future installment dates move by the suspension duration; installments already overdue before the decision remain visible. Resumption reschedules future standing payments without collecting them. The original principal, agreed charge and completed payment history stay unchanged. Suspension is not forgiveness, insurance or recovery funding. 10. Repayment servicing Servicing officers can inspect the accepted schedule, recorded payments and amounts due, then open a repayment-assistance case. Notes do not change the accepted offer, add penalties, forgive debt or authorize seizure of a ship. A member may authorize recurring repayments; Treasury’s automation controls and current account standing still apply. 11. Eligibility register and joint closing Conditional benefits require current independently verified source records in Agreements. Co-signers receive private invitations and accept the exact written offer with a stated maximum liability. Voluntary contributions reserve checking funds until closing; release before closing returns them, and a rejected purchase disbursement unwinds them. Funded contributions do not convey automatic ownership. Joint payments reduce the shared debt once and cannot exceed the signer’s accepted limit. 12. Flagship asset leases L-400 applications close through a lease, not the purchase-loan payment flow. Treasury identifies a cooperative-owned asset and offers fixed weekly rent, term, refundable bond, return conditions and any purchase option. Three active co-signers consent separately before the lessee accepts. Handover activates the rental term. Member or bounded co-signer payments settle the same rent. An inspected return releases the full bond after fixed rent is paid; an agreed buyout pays its stated price and returns the bond. Undelivered cancellation returns the bond. Disputes do not authorize unilateral bond deductions. Civitas public standard. Service availability is shown in your member account.
