ORION / Integration reference
Connect operations through IDC.
ORION runs the IDC brokerage, Civitas settlement and Group operations itself. Organization servers may optionally connect their supported capabilities through this API. HorizonOS is not a dependency and does not currently provide the contract, bidding, delivery or Dispatch functions described in these examples. No HorizonOS changes or game-log feed are required. Each optional connection is registered for one organization and uses an expiring delegation from an authorized member.
Register once. Delegate deliberately.
- Generate an Ed25519 key pair on your server. Keep the private key there.
- A Corporate personnel administrator registers the public key, organization, scopes and expiry in IDC’s Access & integrations.
- An organization signatory grants the client an expiring delegation. That delegation can be revoked from the same page.
- Sign requests using the supplied client. Read the current request revision before changing an existing record.
Available scopes
| Scope | Purpose |

| records.write | Attach organization-attested operational records |
| events.read | Follow durable status events |
Client selection, broker award, funding approvals, delivery acceptance and settlement stay in the authenticated workspace. Delegations follow current membership and signatory authority; they do not create new financial permissions.
A reliable handover
Commands use durable instruction IDs and revision checks. Repeating an unchanged instruction after a lost response does not pay or perform it twice. Events are committed alongside the source change and retrieved with a resumable cursor. Errors use standard problem details and rate limits include Retry-After.
Operational references retain their origin and observation time. An organization’s delivery report or signed source observation remains evidence for review; it cannot release escrow by itself.
Apex StarComm
Public Atlas locations and expiring Starcomm Alerts are available in the brokerage workspace. Private Apex Dispatch uses its own player authorization and operator grants. Its manual client registration is a separate step; an IDC client cannot substitute for it.
