Why this project exists.
The Academy connects a public course catalogue with teaching groups, learning modules, assessments and an academic register. Attendance, completion, a qualification and an appointment are different records; learning should make those distinctions clear.
Lex Astra trains officers and specialists and maintains doctrine. The Academy was established in 2891; its history and curriculum are recorded in the Academy register.
Fleet and civil-service experience informs instruction. Training records distinguish attendance, assessment, and appointment to a responsible office.
