The assessment return and the second attempt

2956 · public reading copy

Assessors must identify what was demonstrated and what further practice is needed.

Three outcomes

Use demonstrated, further practice required, or interrupted for the practical task. State which published criterion the evidence addresses. An interrupted exercise has no completed result unless enough evidence was already obtained to support one.

Further practice

Give the candidate a specific next task and explain how it will be assessed. Repeating an entire course is not the default remedy for a single incomplete skill. A different assessor should be available where an impartial review requires one.

Technology and conditions

Record the game build and material failures that affected the exercise. A server loss, broken interaction or inaccessible vessel may prevent demonstration. Do not convert a technical failure into a judgment about conduct or competence.

Review

Provide the candidate with the reasons and the review route under the Academy Ordinance. Keep personal assessment material out of the public library deposit. Teaching copies should use invented or anonymized participants.
