The examination book
Bring me one completed assessment from each school and one that remains disputed. I want to see the task, the evidence considered and the explanation given to the candidate. A mark without those things tells me very little about the standard of the school.
The instructor’s time
Show where teaching depends upon a single person. We will not solve every shortage at once, but we can stop disguising one as a timetable. A course for which no qualified instructor is available should say so before a candidate commits to it.
What is carried forward
Soren’s division between instruction and appointment remains sound. The Academy is responsible for the recommendation it makes. The receiving command is responsible for the authority it grants. Neither office is relieved of judgment by the signature of the other.
