Case SO–6: an escort offered on conditions
2956 · public reading copy
A proposed agreement tests the difference between accepting help and surrendering authority.
Offer
A partner crew offers escort for a relief movement but asks to select the destination and retain cargo pending its own inspection. The receiving office has already agreed a different destination. Neither party has authority to bind the other’s entire organization.
Negotiation
Draft a limited counterproposal stating the route, duration, escort responsibility and grounds for ending the arrangement. Mark the provisions that require approval from a different office. A signature in the seminar has no effect outside it.
Source work
Cite the relevant corporate authority for the proposed movement and identify any question the published instruments leave unresolved. An attractive seal or confident use of rank cannot supply the missing delegation.
Assessment
Submit the agreed text and the unresolved points. A reasoned decision not to reach an agreement may satisfy the exercise; agreement at any cost does not.
