Case CS–3: one berth remaining
2956 · public reading copy
A reception problem requires a team to state the limits of its transport offer.
Brief
An incoming party exceeds the seats on the first departure. One person needs an in-game treatment stop and another must remain with a disconnected crewmate’s arrangements unresolved. The available vessel cannot carry everyone in one trip.
Planning
Establish a safe waiting point, a first movement and a named receiving contact. Do not promise an immediate second flight until a crew and vessel are confirmed. Explain the plan to the people waiting, including what remains uncertain.
Exercise boundaries
Use consenting volunteers or a tabletop manifest. No participant should be left without an agreed return arrangement. Medical actions are in-game tasks under the session brief, not real-world treatment advice.
Review
Reconcile the list at both ends and identify who remains responsible for each unresolved movement. The exercise ends with a handover, not simply with the first landing.
