Industrial receipt and acceptance

Cargo delivery checks and payment for accepted quantities.

01

Recording a delivery

Select the purchase quota and enter the commodity and whole SCU being delivered. The quota identifies the receiving office. Pending deliveries count against the remaining quantity. A receiving officer cannot approve their own delivery.

02

Checking the cargo

The receiving officer records the accepted quantity and explains any shortfall or rejection. Acceptance cannot exceed either the submitted quantity or the amount still needed under the quota.

03

Paying the supplier

Payment equals the accepted quantity multiplied by the agreed unit price. It is drawn from the purchase order’s reserved funds and recorded against the delivery. A delivery does not automatically change an instrument’s asset valuation.

04

Industrial output agreements

Treasury offers an issuer, commodity, expiry and 25% output commitment. The producer accepts it in Industry. Production periods begin on the acceptance date and continue without gaps, for at most 31 days each. Source evidence must account for all output. Only accepted receipts for that producer, institution, commodity and period count, once. An independent receiver reviews the report. Current agreements have a 31-day first-report period; later qualification requires up-to-date accepted reports meeting the commitment. Ending or failing an agreement prevents new qualification but does not rewrite existing loan terms. Unused quotas can be closed after pending receiving reviews; their unspent reserve returns to the original funder.
